Johns Manville Furnace in Ohio Successfully Rebuilt to Support North American Composites Growth

Johns Manville (JM), a market-leading manufacturer of Continuous Filament Glass Fiber and a Berkshire Hathaway company, announced its operation in Waterville, Ohio, successfully re-started a furnace with increased capacity this summer.

 JM’s new furnace in Waterville produces a broad portfolio of engineered products, such as continuous glass fibers for composites, building materials and engineered thermoplastic market, and allows for production growth and flexibility within JM’s product families for polyamides, polyesters and polypropylenes. It also enables JM to continue to serve customers in the composites and engineered thermoplastic field and to support market growth in the U.S.

 JM’s global fibers team will attend CAMX 2017 this week in Orlando, Fla., and will be available to talk about the products manufactured in Waterville. The JM booth is Hall B-L68.
